AMP’s VR75 Series 7.5 cubic
inch video receivers offer high quality reception
with many industry leading features, including the smallest and lightest
packaging, the highest power efficiency, the lowest noise figure, and video
inversion. All receivers utilize a compact, robust machined chassis and high
quality connectors designed to withstand harsh environments. The VR75 series
is available in C, L, S, and U bands.
VR75 Series receivers feature
innovative circuit designs to reduce power consumption for significantly
longer battery life and to reduce noise figure for 25-60% range improvement.
Lower noise figure improves signal-to-noise ratio for better video quality
and reduces the required transmitter output power, which in turn improves
transmitter battery life.

The Receiver Carrier frequency may be locally selected
in 250 kHz channels with slide switches. A separate slide switch allows
selection between standard (positive) and inverted (negative) video.
Received signal strength is indicated two ways - a chassis - mounted LCD
analog bar meter and an output pin on the circular connector.
VR75 Series receivers are
ideal for surveillance and other applications requiring high quality video
reception in a compact, rugged package. If your application requires video
and audio reception, AMP’s receivers are optionally configured with up to
two phase-locked audio subcarriers, temperature compensated for reduced
frequency drift. Dual buffered audio outputs are provided for each
subcarrier for simultaneous monitoring and recording.
