C-Joy 100x
Conventional zoom lenses generally have a
cam groove cut right through the cam barrel, restricting the angle of
rotation to 180 degrees to maintain the strength of the barrel and the
precision of the groove. With high magnification zoom lenses an angle of
rotation greater than 180 degrees is essential and generally results in
large diameter cam pipes and large and heavy lenses.
Now there is a cam barrel developed with
an internal cam groove that provides the required rotation angle while
maintaining the strength of the barrel and the precision of the groove. This
cam has required the development of advanced machinery for its production.

For the internal focusing system, the seven lenses of the
first focus lens group are separated into groups of four and three lenses,
which provides for rapid and accurate focusing on an object. As the front
lens do not rotate, a polarizing filter can be used.

The internal 2x Magnifier (extender) lens provides for
focal length from 1000 mm to 2000 mm which can be operated remotely. Thus an
image can be instantly expanded to 2x.

Day and night applications
The focal point remains almost under visible ray or 400nm
to the near infrared ray of 900nm (IR) and within the focus area of 10mm -
1000mm. Across this range readjustment of focus should not be necessary.
Additionally, when using the 2x extender, lens back adjustment is not
necessary as the focus point of IR light and visible light are the same at
the wide end. Focusing will be required under IR light for focal lengths of
70 - 450 mm. For the ranges of 20 - 70 mm and 450 - 2000 mm focusing is not
necessary.

The galvanic iris may be changed from manual to auto, or
auto to manual by remote control. The manual function allows for opening and
closing under specific conditions such as strong light.
The flange back of this lens can be adjusted within the
range of + 1.5 mm to - 1.5 mm for camera without lens back adjustment.
Lenses and cameras are usually turned to make a
connection. The C-mount can be set to allow connection by turning the
C-mount only.
Multi-coated lenses which normally are designed for use
with visible ray deteriorate in transmittance performance from around 700nm.
These lenses are all coated with wide band coating which provides for high
performance from visible 400nm to IR 1,000nm.
The lens controller has functions for zoom, focus, auto
and manual switches, iris trimmer, and 2x expander switch. A speed
adjustment trimmer provides for ease of operation with zooming, focusing and
iris operation.

Lens Support with Linear Ball Bearing Bushings
Variator and compensator lens groups operate with the
support of ball bearings bushings. They move smoothly, lightly, and
precisely on a shaft. The use of such bushings is a first in the CCTV field.
Microscopes and telescopes are used to enlarge an object
image, but, even with high quality microscopes, it is difficult to get a
sharp image when long distance is involved. Thus while quality remains an
important aspect in lens selection, the over-riding criterion is suitability
of application in given situations.
For clear images over long distances, the primary concern
is for lenses with the longest possible focal length. Such lenses will be
needed in situations such as:

Providing an early check of approaching object

Observing distant, difficult access situations

Watching city from highest tower / building

Expensive super low dispersion glass
which has been used for TV broadcast lenses is used in the frontal part of
the lens to eliminate in an ideal manner the secondary aberration occurring
at the telephoto side.
The system allows cam grooves to be cut
by easier gradients. This will allow the cam barrel to be increased relative
to that of the conventional system. An increase in precision in the
direction of the optical axis has made it possible for an ideal optical
performance to be achieved at a value almost identical with that of the
design.
With a decrease of load to the zooming
and focusing motors, the overall durability has significantly been enhanced.
The progress in the use of 3CCD cameras
is remarkable in recent years. Provided with a high resolving power, the
lens will allow to fully utilize the camera's performance to obtain images
in bright colors with high resolution.

The camera employs an extender system which has been used
by TV broadcast zoom lenses in contrast to conventional extenders attached
to the rear end of a lens. This extender incorporated into its optical
system itself from the designing stage to ensure that an optical extender
most appropriate for the lens should be developed.
Moreover, use of a motorized system for moving of the
extender has allowed it to be remotely controlled.
These cameras have solved the problem of a deterioration
of the center performance around halfway of the zooming range with
compensator.
The deterioration is a characteristic commonly observed
in telescopic lenses with a high magnifying power. As a result of this
advanced optical technology, the compensator prevents the deterioration from
occurring and achieves a high resolution over the entire zooming range.

Type 1 lens: Generally, zoom lenses have
a focusing problem, specifically with the short focal length, especially
where there is a difference between visible ray and near infrared ray back
focal length. Type 1 lenses counter this difference by a series of original,
optical calculations. On the other hand, for long focal length positions the
back focal length may be adjusted by focusing, both for visible ray and
infrared ray.
This type of lens is therefore suitable
for day and night conditions. However, during zooming there will be some
unavoidable defocusing which must be corrected by applying a mechanical
compensation method (CAM). CAM has to be created for either visible ray or
near infrared ray.
Type 2 lens: This lens was developed to
overcome the difficulties of the type 1 zoom lens. The back focal length of
the long focal length is virtually the same for both visible ray and near
infrared ray operation. This eliminiates the need for refocusing. Moreover,
with this lens there will be no defocusing (image shift) during zooming
including that of night operation under IR illumination.

infrared corrected zoom lens, offers perfect correction of color aberration.
To achieve this, a special infrared multicoated optical glass was designed.
This affects a wide range, from the visible light to the near infrared,
something almost impossible to achieve with conventional methods. This
camera gives you a clear, in-focus picture at all times, 24 hours a day.
Recent technological progress in CCTV
cameras produces a day/night or high sensitivity HAD Cameras. This makes it
possible to offer daytime monitoring in color and night time monitoring in
black and white. It also allows monitoring in total darkness when using

the transmission factor. The transmission factor is important because of the
large number of separate lenses put together to create the compound lens
that is a zoom lens. Special coating technology is necessary for increasing
the transmission factor in the broad light band from visible to near
infrared.
