Recording Activation is through a manual switch, external triggers, or a timer. The media is 4GB compact flash with supplied installed. The recording duration of the K200 is typically 2 hours. Power on until recording is under one second. Video recording is done at a rate of 25ips PAL, 30ips NTSC. TVL is 540. The pixels for the video recording is 720 x 288 PAL: 720 X 240 NTSC. Format is MPEG-full image update. Input Signal is 1 input, composite video 1V p/p; colour/mono; PAL/NTSC. The embedded text includes date/time plus 12 user-defined characters. Audio recording type is in either mono or stereo. Inputs are 2 Mic level inputs 3V phantom powered. (compatible with most condenser mics). Sampling rate is 16kHz and the sampling Res. is 16 bits.
Connectors/Controls/Indicators The K200 has a toggle switch of off (from USB2 to PC) to On (record). USB2/Control is a Fisher 102 series 7 way (keyed): USB2 on control signals on 3 pins. There is 1 video input, 2 audio inputs, plus camera power output and on/off signal. The Camera Power is 5V, 6V, 9V, or 12V (menu selectable) supplied by K200 (max. 2W) Battery Battery Power is from a rechargeable Lithium Polymer 3.7V battery supplied installed. Recharge in K200 by PC via USB2. Charge time is typically under 4 hours. Duration is typically 2 hours, recording with 0.6W camera. Consumption Recording is 1.8W + 0.6W (miniature camera) = 2.4W. General Information The K200 is password protected with a fragile watermark on every image and also embedded camera text. The case is made of an aluminum body with stainless steel end plates. The dimensions in mm is 109 x 58 x 28 case or 112 x 58 x 21 including controls. The weight is 197g. Supplied Accessories and Warranty The supplied accessories are as follows, a USB2 cable 1.5m, PCLink Suite software CD, (including manual), input plug and 4.7 mm collet.
