Description:
EdiTracker software (part of the SIS suite) is designed for forensic audio recordings authentication. EdiTracker performs many signal analysis operations automatically, making it easier for an expert to find possible evidence of tampering or manipulation. It combines three powerful methods for the tracking of audio tampering traces: tracking of digital processing, harmonic consistency analysis, and background noise analysis.
Features:
- Analyzes the technical properties of the recorder used for audio data input into a PC - Examines sound signal for traces of previous digitization using spectrum analysis techniques and detection of anti-alias filtering signs - Analyzes using high-precision spectrum analyzer for detecting stationary harmonics in the signal (power source noise, etc.) - Looks for tampering signs using spectrum analysis techniques and detection of changes in background noise dynamics - Designates areas of suspicion with special marks and descriptions of indicators suggestive of possible tampering - Visualizes audio data analysis findings in sound windows - Complies analysis findings into "Conclusions", which can be stored as a text file
